Big News:

 

The M3DE will for 2013 include a round of the National Enduro Champs and a round of the Top Trail Ride Enduro Champs.  The format will be thus:

 

Day One     -   1st June      National Championship Round

Day Two    -    2nd June     TTR Enduro Round

Day Three  -    3rd June      Enduro Sprint

 

(Whats and Enduro Sprint?   This is Special Stages without the riding the trail inbetween. Thus you get to ride the special stages four or five times each over a 5 hour period - we will explain in detail closer to the event)

 

Three Days Combined    -   Maramarua Three Day Enduro Title

 

There will be an M3DE teams award for teams of Three Riders - individual riders can be in up to Two Teams. We are encouraging Manufacturers, Club and Trade teams.

 

Riders can enter any one of the days riding or enter two or the whole three days.  It's going to be great. 

 

The classes will be National Championship classes for the first two days and M3DE classes will prevail for the oversll 3 day result.

 

Real Time racing like the ISDE and A4DE events which is easier to work out and prepares riders for the big time if they so decide.

 

Only riders holding a full MNZ Licence can gain points for the National Championship 

Day Licences will be available for the TTR Enduro Champs

We will be having a support class for Non MNZ Riders who will qualify for the M3DE overall result.

 

The course will have Expert/Junior splits which will be manned.

Special Tests (Terrain Tests) will be taped as much as possible to avoid getting lost. We are working towards having a maize paddock test, an open trails test, a tight in the bush test and an Enduro X test. (Juniors won't have to ride the Enduro X) and maybe a couple more for good measure.   Yes something for everyone.

This will be the Friendly Enduro where everyone is welcome, where we work hard to get everyone to the finish and will work out any problems before the reach the protest room.

 

Riders cards with times already printed on them will be issued to riders before the start.

 

Wear a timepiece so you can ride to Real Time which will be Vodafone time.  Clocks will be at all checks.

 

Free camping is available on site - meals are available at the Red Fox Tavern 8 km away and a free bus service kindly supplied by Murhy Buses will transport campers to and from the resturant.

 

Entry is on the day an you must be fully entered 1 hour before the start of the Enduro.

You can however turn up Friday and walk the Special Stages (Terrain Tests)

You can also sign on Friday afternoon between 4 pm and 7:30 pm

 

Likely start times are:        Saturday 1st          8:30 am       Finish 4:00 pm

                                          Sunday 2nd           9:00 am       Finish 2:30 pm

                                          Monday 3rd           9:00 am       Finish 1:30 pm

 

We will hold the prize giving for the Enduro Sprint and M3DE at 2:30 pm so everyone can get home early
